The Co-existence of Joy, Sadness, and Struggle

Joy isn’t always experienced in dancing, singing, leaping, and praising God. In hard times praise is never my first inclination. I’ve found true joy rooted through faith. Praise comes only when I’m able to fully surrender to the Lord in the midst of trials.
True joy is found only in Jesus. Joy is in knowing that God is faithful and trusting He is a promise keeper. He doesn’t always take away my sadness and struggle. He adds joy to carry me through days when I want to quit. Moments that remind me God is working are sprinkled into the most hopeless of days.
My Savior experienced many of this world’s trials. Peace comes when leaning on the One who suffered for me. Jesus paid the price for all things to be made right. In my Heavenly home sadness and struggle will be no more. This world is just a temporary dwelling place.
The Lord tarries out of love for all people. He is giving time for each person to come to know Him personally.
(2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”)
Everyone is wanted, invited, and embraced. R.S.V.P. today. When our lives on earth are done let’s meet in the presence of Jesus.

Bible Verses About Joy:
Psalm 94:1 ”When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.”
Romans 12:12 “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Hebrews 12:2 “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
James 1:2-3 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
